POSITION SUMMARY:

The Commercial Sales Specialist serves as a key member of the Commercial group, providing information and reporting on factors designed to improve and optimize the business, such as account analysis, sales support, and leased chassis implementation.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and produce Salesforce reporting and integrity of opportunity records within Sales console
  • Derive data analytics to understand trends and develop forecasts
  • Perform implementation duties of leased chassis
  • Maintain and provide sales support for Area Sales Managers
  • Coordinate renewal procedures for leased chassis upon expiration
  • Maintain a master database of leased chassis
  • Work with Commercial team to ensure linkage between agreements and commitments made with the client are properly vetted
  • Maintain document control for all deals, ensuring that customer files are kept up-to-date
  • Maintain VIP agreement documentation and reporting
  • Provide integration support for new and existing customers
  • Provide customer profile to Area Sales Managers to help facilitate new business and renewal deals
  • Ensure that all on-hired and off-hired lease chassis are properly communicated to billing for accurate and timely billing

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline
  • Three to five years of recent experience in a sales organization
  • Transportation industry experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and follow-up skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook) required
