Street Turn Instructions

A “street turn” is when possession of a chassis is transferred from one motor carrier to another at a place outside of the chassis pool’s start/stop locations. Street turns transfer liability to your fellow motor carrier at the time of the exchange.

Use the following steps to make and track a street turn request. Or, download a PDF version of the instructions.

For street turn support, please contact transferunit@dcli.com.

  • All non-compliant parties will see a notification at the top of the screen when logged in to the website.
  • To view the reason for the non-compliant status, simply click the “Non DCLI Compliant” link. This will show a reason for the status and may also show a comment that gives more detail about the status.
