Our strong network of suppliers and vendors provides a foundation that supports
our mission to be your chassis partner of choice.

Supplier Diversity

Our Supplier Diversity Program is not a quota system or social program designed to benefit select groups while adding little value. It is a proactive business strategy that we strongly believe improves our ability to serve our customers and, more importantly, helps diverse suppliers move into the mainstream of the economy and contribute to the success of the communities where we do business. The program encourages the use of the following types of suppliers:

  • Minority-owned businesses

  • Women-owned businesses

  • Veteran-owned businesses

  • Service-disabled veteran-owned businesses

  • LGBTQ-owned businesses

  • Small businesses

Suppliers who meet our diversity criteria must also demonstrate their ability to add value and provide high-quality goods and services that are competitively priced, reliable, and aligned with our superior level of service. In addition, we actively pursue diverse suppliers that embrace our Core Values. We believe the Supplier Diversity Program strengthens our sourcing process and helps bring tangible benefits to both our customers and the communities where we live and operate.

DCLI is pleased to partner with the National Veteran Business Development Council (NVBDC). We are committed to supporting the NVBDC Certified Service-Disabled, and Veteran Owned Businesses (S.D./VOBs). This includes an ongoing effort to enhance outreach to secure S.D./VOBs in our procurement opportunities. Read more here.

Vendor Recognition

Our vendors and suppliers are a huge part of our success. To express our gratitude to this important group, we are proud to introduce our new DCLI Vendor Recognition Program. This program was developed to recognize vendors across the various DCLI departments  — Maintenance and Repair, Logistics, Marketing, Human Resources, and Road Service — and honor them for the many ways they enable our success.

Each year, vendor performance will be scored in four different categories to determine the list of award nominees:

  • Quality
  • Delivery
  • Ease of Doing Business
  • Partnership

The top 10 nominees for each award will be invited to attend our Vendor Appreciation event.

We will be holding the inaugural DCLI Vendor Appreciation event in March of 2025. Additional event details will be shared with nominees in early 2025.

Supplier Code of Conduct

We have implemented a Supplier Code of Conduct to establish clear expectations and standards for ethical, responsible, and compliant business practices among suppliers. By doing so, we hope to promote transparency, mitigate risk, and enhance the company’s reputation while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance. Additionally, the Supplier Code of Conduct is designed to foster sustainable and long-term relationships with suppliers, align with customer expectations, and demonstrate a commitment to ethical sourcing, thereby enhancing competitiveness and contributing to social and environmental responsibility goals.
