DCLI Introduces Mike O’Malley as SVP, Government and Public Relations

Direct ChassisLink, Inc. (“DCLI”) is pleased to announce that Mike O’Malley has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Government and Public Relations. In this newly created role, Mr. O’Malley will be the primary point of contact for the Company with external stakeholders such as regulators, legislators, trade groups, and the media.

Mr. O’Malley’s career includes experience in the railroad industry, federal and state government, and international trade organizations. After starting his career in various government relations roles, from 2002 to 2007, he served with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) in Washington, D.C. in multiple roles, and then became a chief of staff with the Federal Aviation Administration. Mr. O’Malley joined CSX at its Jacksonville, Florida headquarters in 2007 as Vice President, State Government and Community Affairs, before being named Vice President, Procurement and Supply Chain Management in 2013. Most recently, he was President of the Railway Supply Institute (RSI), a trade association representing more than 200 manufacturers and service providers across the industry.

Mr. O’Malley holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and a Master of Science in European Studies from the London School of Economics. “I look forward to joining a leading firm like DCLI at such a pivotal point in the industry’s evolution,” said O’Malley of his new role. Mr. O’Malley will be based in Jacksonville, Florida.
