UPDATE: OCTOBER 8, 2020
As Hurricane Delta continues its approach toward the Gulf Coast as a Category 2 storm, we are hearing that terminals in New Orleans are planning to be closed on Friday, October 9, 2020. The latest information for NOLA can be found here.
With the storm’s current path still centered on Louisiana, we haven’t yet heard of any planned closures or service disruptions in Houston, Mobile, or Tennessee. However, it’s possible that the storm’s path could shift and a much broader area of the Gulf region may be impacted. As such, we encourage you to continue checking with your local sources for the latest developments.
Because this situation is still developing, the best and safest course of action is to return any unneeded DCLI chassis that are currently in your possession to an authorized start/stop location. This will not only ensure that your obligation for the equipment is closed out, it will enable DCLI to account for and inspect the equipment in a more streamlined and centralized fashion should any storm damage occur.
INITIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:
As Hurricane Delta approaches the Gulf Coast this week, our first priority is the safety of our employees, customers, equipment, and the motoring public. We want to ensure that you have the information you need to keep yourself and the equipment in your care safe.
While the current path of the storm shows it making landfall in Louisiana on Saturday morning, it’s possible that could shift as the storm develops and a much broader area of the Gulf region may be impacted.

We will continue to send updates as Hurricane Delta develops to keep you posted on its latest path and provide more information about our chassis.
