Service Alert: Hurricane Florence Update
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – September 12, 2018
As Hurricane Florence approaches the Carolinas coast, our first priority is the safety of our employees, customers, and equipment. We want to ensure that you have the information you need to keep yourself and the equipment in your care safe.
We are hearing that many ports, terminals, and other start/stop locations along the east coast may be closing today and not reopening until after the worst of the storm has passed. If you do not need to hold onto a DCLI chassis that’s currently in your possession, the best and safest course of action is to return it before the end of the day today. This will not only ensure that your obligation for the equipment is closed out, but it will enable the chassis pools to account for and inspect the equipment they manage in a more streamlined and centralized fashion should any storm damage occur.
