As the largest US supplier of marine and domestic chassis, DCLI partners with port authorities and other stakeholders across the country to keep the supply chain moving. That’s why our focus has been on both adding new chassis equipment to our fleet as well as upgrading our existing chassis to enhance performance – everything from working to radialize our entire fleet by 2024 (you can track our progress here) to investing in our chassis refurbishment program. These efforts help us ensure that reliable, high-quality DCLI chassis are available where and when they’re needed.
We are facing the supply chain challenges head on.
We realize that the whole supply chain has been challenged since the beginning of the COVID pandemic. Our engagement with all of our stakeholders – from motor carriers and shippers to port authorities and maintenance and repair vendors – has helped shape our strategy for ensuring that the usage of our chassis is optimized. We have also engaged with policymakers in Washington, including comments filed by our industry association, the Institute of International Container Lessors (IICL), in response to a request from the US Department of Transportation on supply chain challenges and practical solutions for how to deal with them.
